Welcome to Qualia Occupational Therapy

Qualia is a child and family centred occupational therapy service that empowers children and their families to nurture children’s development throughout childhood. Qualia provides assistance and intervention for children who are experiencing difficulty participating in occupational roles appropriate for their age at school, preschool, daycare, in the community, and at home. We provide therapy at schools, preschools and daycare environments as well as at our clinic in Gladesville. We frequently receive referrals for:

  • Classroom tasks (handwriting, pencil grasp, writing speed, organised and creative writing)
  • Classroom participation (attention, concentration, following instructions, self-regulation and sensory processing)
  • School and preschool participation (social skills, play skills, sensory processing, gross motor skills and communication)
  • Home and community participation (dressing, self-care and toilet training)

Qualia also offers online therapy sessions for clients who wish to access occupational therapy from the comfort and convenience of their homes. We are so excited about this fun, interactive and effective way of delivering therapy. Online sessions follow the same format as all in-person sessions and include verbal and written feedback at the end of each session.
