Why a glitter bottle?

img_1397

Watching a glitter bottle settle can be a great way for a child to calm down.

Quick and easy way to make a glitter bottle

Materials:

  1. Empty plastic bottle with label removed
  2. Hot and cold water
  3. Glitter glue
  4. Loose glitter and sequins

Steps:

Fill bottle about 1/3 with hot water. Make sure the water is not so hot that it melts the plastic!

Squeeze in glitter glue. The more glitter glue you put in, the slower the glitter will take to settle. At this point you can add clear glue too if you would like the glitter to settle even more slowly.

Shake the bottle to separate the glitter in the glitter glue. Give it a stir if required to break it all up.

Add loose glitter and sequins.
